Praise & Anxiety (2)

"Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise (Philippians 4:8 NLT)."

""So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own (Matthew 6:34 NASB)."

OK, I know—you know that you are supposed to think about good things and not bad things. And that you're not supposed to worry; you may even recognize that worry is a sin. But you just can't stop worrying and thinking about negatives. As hard as you try, your mind continues to drift in the wrong direction. And you're worried, tense and miserable. There is a solution. It's simple, easy to do and is yours for only $100—just kidding; everything on the site is free.

Just get into the habit of praising the Lord and thanking Him whenever you start to think about negatives. Do this repeatedly. You will be amazed how well it works!

"Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting (Psalm 106:1 NASB)."

Yeah, you can praise and thank Him because his lovingkindness is everlasting. But you can also praise and thank Him because it will make it possible for you to resist the Devil, to avoid thinking about negatives, to stop worrying and even to have a good day!

Try it. It won't take long to prove how well this works.
