This is the website of James Serio MA, LMFT (Retired).

Jim has a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Southern California Seminary in El Cajon, California. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from San Diego State University.

Jim has a wide range of experience in the mental health field. This includes doing in-home counseling for a social service agency, working at a continuation high school, working at a Short Term Adult Residential Crisis Treatment (START) facility, working at a probation group home for juvenile offenders and doing counseling for a prison ministry. Jim has also worked at a Christian drug and alcohol treatment center and been self-employed in private practice.

Jim is a retired Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is not engaged in private practice. Please do not attempt to contact for professional services.

This website was initially conceived of as a business idea. The ads have since been removed. The website now serves as a personal ministry.

I rarely write new articles. I do, however, continually try to improve what I have already written. New videos are more common.

It is my hope that you will find the website useful and that it will provide a blessing to your life.
