News stories about crime and evildoers can be used by demons to create anxiety in your life—if you focus on them.

Suggestions follow.

Don't entertain fantasies of how nice things would be if evildoers were punished more severely. This gives power to the devil.

Do recite Scripture.

"For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives but to save them." {Luke 9:56 NKJV}

 “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” {Romans 12:19 ESV}

Do think about good things.

". . . whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right . . . think about these things." {Philippians 4:8 NASB}
