Stopping Spiritual Attacks—Part Twelve
Here are two shortcuts that can be used, effectively, whenever you come under spiritual attacks.
First shortcut:
- Pray about the issue.
- Apply Scripture.
You will have more success, in spiritual warfare, if you get into the habit of first praying when you come under spiritual attacks.
Second shortcut:
- Address sin issues.
- Command Satan to leave in Jesus' name.
Demons have to depart once sin issues have been addressed. They no longer have a legal right to torture you.
Once you've completed either shortcut, think about something else.
". . . whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right . . . think about these things." {Philippians 4:8 NASB}
Dwelling on problems and negatives gives power to the devil. Always.
