How to Get Saved.Jesus stated: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6 NKJV).” Jesus is the only way to get to heaven. I will now list some Scriptures on the subject of salvation. Consider each Scripture carefully. Then, I will provide a simple prayer which will enable you to become saved. Note: These Scriptures apply to EVERYONE. There is no sin that you have committed--no matter how bad--that prevents you from becoming saved right now! "He (Jesus) was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God (John 1:10-13 NIV)." "I (Jesus) tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me (God) has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life (John 5:24 NIV)." "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16 NIV)." ". . . that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10 NKJV)." "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13 NIV)." Here's a simple prayer that you can repeat to become saved. Make sure you pray from your heart: "Dear Lord Jesus: I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and that God raised you from the dead. I ask forgiveness of all my sins. I thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I receive you, Jesus, as my personal Savior." Congratulations! This is the best decision of your life! |
